Joey Barton answers FA charges

Queens Park Rangers captain Joey Barton has accepted one charge of violent conduct by the Football Association.

Barton appeared to kick Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero from behind after he had already been sent off for elbowing Carlos Tevez during his side's /football3-2 defeat at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday.

However, the 29-year-old has denied a second charge of alleged violent conduct against City captain Vincent Kompany.

Barton has yet to be given a date for his hearing.
