Javier Pastore urges David Beckham to join Paris Saint-Germain

Argentine midfielder Javier Pastore is keen for David Beckham to join him at Paris Saint-Germain.

Beckham's contract with LA Galaxy will expire at the end of this month and the former England captain has confirmed that he has received a number of offers to leave the MLS.

French club PSG have been heavily linked with a move for Beckham and 22-year-old Pastore would welcome the addition.

"Beckham could bring us his big experience, his experience of winning," Pastore told L'Equipe.

"Talking with him would be rewarding. Beckham has a presence that is impressive. Here, at PSG, no-one displays a record of achievements and a background of his calibre."

Pastore joined PSG in the summer from Italian club Palermo for a reported fee of £20m.
