Neymar 'angry with PSG over failed transfer'

Neymar has been reportedly left feeling 'sad and deeply angry' at Paris Saint-Germain following the club's refusal to grant the Brazilian a return to Barcelona this summer.

The 27-year-old, who moved to PSG from Catalonia for a world-record £198m fee in 2017, made it clear throughout the transfer window that he wanted a move to Camp Nou.

However, it was reported last week that no transfer would go through, with PSG refusing to lower their £200m valuation of the forward.

According to Sport, Neymar is fuming at PSG's failure to grant him a move away from the Parc des Princes.

Barcelona were reluctant to pay the full amount for Neymar this summer having already splashed out £229.7m on transfers during the transfer window.

Neymar, according to the report, will once again push for a move in January, while it is claimed that Barcelona plan to return with a fresh approach next year.
