Nene confirms Paris Saint-Germain exit

Paris Saint-Germain winger Nene has confirmed that he will leave the club when his contract expires in June.

The 31-year-old has made a limited number of appearances for the French side this season.

"I love Paris, PSG and its fans, who have always treated me with great respect," the Brazilian told his official website.

"Personally and through social networks, I received many messages from fans asking me to stay. It is a difficult decision, but I think it's time to take a new direction in my career."

Nene joined PSG from Monaco in summer 2010 for around £4m.
