Zlatan Ibrahimovic has apologised for a foul-mouthed rant on French television, following Paris Saint-Germain's 2-0 loss to Bordeaux.

Diego Rolan scored a late winner for the hosts after Ibrahimovic had seemingly rescued a point with his second of the match, and the Swede was fuming at the performance of referee Lionel Jaffredo.

"I've never seen this in my 15 years in football. Fucking arsehole," Ibrahimovic said on French television.

"Don't even deserve PSG should be in this country. Fucking too good for all of you."

Ibrahimovic released a statement a few hours later saying: "My remarks were not aimed at France or the French people. I was talking about football and not something else."

Paris Saint-Germain are currently two points behind Ligue 1 leaders Lyon.
