Team News: Sam Ricketts, Leigh Griffiths make Wolverhampton Wanderers debuts

Wolverhampton Wanderers manager Kenny Jackett has handed Sam Ricketts and Leigh Griffiths full debuts in this afternoon's League One opener at Preston North End.

Ricketts will captain the side in his maiden appearance, while Griffiths will lead the line in his long awaited first start for the club.

Bakary Sako continues in midfield despite being linked with a move away from Molineux, alongside Dave Edwards and Bjorn Sigurdarson.

Preston boss Simon Grayson hands Kevin Davies a home debut in attack, but Iain Hume has to settle for a place on the bench.
