Philadelphia Union 1-2 San Jose Earthquakes

Steven Lenhart's injury-time goal was enough to earn the San Jose Earthquakes a 2-1 victory at Philadelphia Union.

After a goalless first half, Lenhart gave the visitors a 76th-minute lead when he headed in Marvin Chavez's cross.

Gabriel Gomez looked to have earned the Union a point as his low effort evaded goalkeeper Jon Busch on 82 minutes.

However, Lenhart was on hand to convert in the third minute of added time after good work from substitute Chavez.
