George Moncur joins Peterborough United on loan

Peterborough United have signed George Moncur from Barnsley on loan until January.

The 23-year-old, who joined Barnsley earlier this summer from Colchester United, had turned down a permanent move to the Posh earlier in the summer.

The West Ham United academy product made 51 goals for Colchester last season, scoring 14 goals in the process.

Moncur joins Peterborough, currently seventh in the League One table, having made two appearances for the Tykes.
