Half-Time Report: Peterborough United, Port Vale, goalless at half time

Peterborough United have played out a goalless first half with Port Vale at London Road in League One.

Grant McCann went close with a free kick on 26 minutes but the effort was just too high to trouble Sam Johnson in the Port Vale goal.

Kyle Vassell should have broken the deadlock moments later but his effort was saved by Johnson's legs after he broke clear.

Louis Dodd spurned a good chance at the death of the half when he blazed over when well placed five minutes before the end of the first period.
