Half-Time Report: Peterborough United lead Leyton Orient thanks to Jon Taylor long-range goal

A Jon Taylor goal gives Peterborough United the lead at half time against Leyton Orient in League One.

Peterborough are beating Leyton Orient 1-0 at half time thanks to a long-range Jon Taylor goal.

The O's can exit the relegation zone with a win while Peterborough need the points to sustain their playoff push.

After a quiet opening 23 minutes, Peterborough took the lead in style. Jon Taylor curled the ball into the top-left corner from outside the penalty area to score his first ever goal at London Road.

Romain Vincelot tried to reply immediately, but he directed the ball over the crossbar.

It was Jack Payne's turn to try from long range in the 35th minute, but his shot was saved by Alex Cisak.
