Team News: Seven changes for Paraguay in Peru clash

Paraguay name seven changes for the Copa America third-place playoff with Peru in Concepcion.

Paraguay coach Ramon Diaz has made no fewer than seven changes to his first XI for this morning's third-place Copa America playoff with Peru in Concepcion.

Miguel Samudio and Marcos Caceres come into the defence following their 6-1 obliteration at the hands of Argentina in the semi-finals.

Raul Bobadilla, Osvaldo Martinez and Nestor Ortigoza line up in midfield, with Derlis Gonzalez the notable absence following his injury against the Albiceleste.

Roque Santa Cruz is also out injured, meaning that Lucas Barrios - who scored in the semi - and Oscar Romero partner each other up top.

Meanwhile, Peru boss Ricardo Gareca, whose team lost narrowly to host nation Chile in the other last-four clash, has only made the two changes.

Christian Ramos comes into defence to replace the suspended Carlos Zambrano, while Yordy Reyna displaces Jefferson Farfan.

Paraguay XI: Villar; Caceres, Aguilar, Samudio, Da Silva; Bobadilla, V Caceres, Martinez, Ortigoza; Romero, Barrios

Peru XI: Gallese; Vargas, Ramos, Advincula, Ascues; Cueva, Reyna, Lobaton, Carillo; Ballon, Guerrero
