Devis Mangia sacked by Palermo

Devis Mangia has been sacked from his role as coach of Italian club Palermo.

The 37-year-old, who had only been charge of the Sicily-based club for four months, failed to guide the club to an away victory this season.

"Palermo announces it has dismissed Devis Mangia and his staff today," read a statement on the club's official website.

"The club wishes to thank the coach for the work he has done."

Mangia leaves the team 10th in the Serie A table.
