Osasuna sign Cristian Lobato

Osasuna have completed the signing of former Barcelona midfielder Cristian Lobato on a six-month contract.

The 24-year-old, who had been without a club since departing the Spanish champions in the summer, will officially join his new teammates for a training session later this afternoon.

A picture of the midfielder completing his medical emerged on social networking side Twitter on Tuesday, with Osasuna quickly confirming that they had agreed terms with the La Masia graduate.

Lobato had been a regular member of the Barcelona B team, but has not played competitive football since February after suffering a serious knee injury.
