Leicester City are reportedly prepared to fight it out with Cardiff City for the signature of Nottingham Forest defender Luke Chambers.
The 26-year-old comes to the end of his current contract in the summer and has hinted that he may leave on a free transfer.
It is believed that Leicester boss Nigel Pearson is keen to add the centre-back to his squad while playoff failures Cardiff are also keeping tabs on the player, according to the Daily Star.
Chambers has been at the City Ground since 2007.
