John Ruddy has "no desire" to leave Norwich City

John Ruddy says that he intends to stay with Norwich City, despite reports linking the goalkeeper with a move to Aston Villa.

Norwich City goalkeeper John Ruddy has insisted that he is happy to stay with the Canaries following reports linking the player to Aston Villa.

There have been suggestions that the 25-year-old, who was forced to drop out of the England Euro 2012 squad with a broken finger, could be reunited with his former boss Paul Lambert at Villa Park.

Despite these rumours, Ruddy has been quick to dispel talk that he is considering an exit from Carrow Road.

Ruddy tweeted: "With regards to these rumours that everyone is tweeting me about I don't know where they have come from, I have no desire to leave NCFC."

Meanwhile, West Ham United have hinted that they are interested in Norwich striker Grant Holt.
