Anthony Pilkington unsure of Norwich City future

Norwich City winger Anthony Pilkington admits that he does not know whether he will still be at the club next season.

Norwich City winger Anthony Pilkington has revealed that he is unsure whether he will still be at the club next season.

The 25-year-old struggled for appearances at Carrow Road towards the end of the 2013-14 campaign under Neil Adams, who was appointed the Canaries' permanent manager on Thursday.

Pilkington is now hoping that his involvement with the Republic of Ireland in their upcoming friendlies will see him catch the eye of other clubs ahead of the new season.

"I had a few injuries, one in particular just before Christmas which kept me out for, I think, 12 weeks," he told the Pink Un. "Then I got back and I was available for the rest of it but the manager, you know, had other ideas.

"I am just concentrating on playing for the country and doing well through the summer and I will have to deal with that when I get back.

"Every game is a shop window and you want to do your best in every game that you play in."

Pilkington and his Ireland teammates return to action on Saturday when they face Italy at Craven Cottage.
