Report: Norwich City to target Crystal Palace's Dwight Gayle in January

Norwich City will reportedly reignite their interest in Crystal Palace striker Dwight Gayle in January.

Norwich City have reportedly targeted another move for Crystal Palace striker Dwight Gayle when the transfer window re-opens in January.

The Canaries failed in their bid to sign the former Peterborough United man over the summer as Palace were reportedly reluctant to sell a second striker after Bournemouth grabbed Glenn Murray.

Gayle, 25, has only scored in one of his nine appearances this season, but that was a hat-trick in the League Cup win over Charlton Athletic.

He is currently out injured with a hamstring injury and might not play for Palace before the turn of the year, when Norwich will reignite their interest in the striker, according to the Evening Standard.
