Norwich City are interested in signing Sunderland striker Ross Stewart, according to a report.
The 25-year-old has been a regular feature within the team this season, playing all 39 of their League One games so far, scoring 22 goals in the process.
That is more than the entire Canaries squad has managed, with the club currently the lowest scorers in the Premier League this season with 18 goals in 29 fixtures.
According to The Sun, Norwich are now interested in signing Stewart during the summer transfer window as Dean Smith looks to bolster his attacking options.
Sunderland are aware of teams keeping tabs on their talisman and as a result are working hard to tie him down to a new contract, with his current deal expiring in 2023.
The Black Cats are in the race for promotion to the Championship this season, but they are currently just outside of the playoffs in seventh place.
