Wes Hoolahan 'to remain at Norwich City'

Hoolahan 'to stay put at Norwich'

Wantaway midfielder Wes Hoolahan will reportedly finish the season with Norwich City, despite his desire to leave Carrow Road.

The 31-year-old is believed to be keen to reunite with former boss Paul Lambert at Aston Villa, but a recent transfer request was turned down by Norwich.

Manager Chris Hughton claimed yesterday that he will investigate reports that Hoolahan made an expletive-ridden rant about the Canaries.

Despite the controversy surrounding the midfielder, any potential moves away from the club have been ruled out and Hoolahan will remain a Norwich player, according to Sky Sports News.

Hoolahan has been at Norwich since signing for the club from Blackpool in 2008.
