Joseph Yobo withdraws from Nigeria squad

Joseph Yobo has pulled out of the Nigeria squad that will take on Mexico tomorrow night.

The 33-year-old, who joined Norwich City on loan from Fenerbahce in January, played the entire 90 minutes as the Canaries lost 4-1 at Aston Villa on Sunday afternoon.

However, the centre-back has been forced to withdraw from international duty with the Super Eagles because of an "unspecified strain".

Yobo has not turned out for Nigeria since last year's African Cup of Nations.
