Paul Lambert hails Simeon Jackson

Norwich City manager Paul Lambert has praised the attitude of Simeon Jackson following his stoppage-time equaliser this afternoon.

The Canaries looked to be heading for a 1-0 loss until Canadian striker Jackson headed in from Elliott Bennett's cross.

"Simeon was a massive player for us last season, he has waited his turn and I am delighted for him," Lambert told BBC Radio Five Live.

The boss also hailed his side's ability to bounce back against the Whites.

"Fulham are a really well-drilled side and I'm delighted with point," he added. "After getting beat last time it was important to bounce back.

"In the second half we were relentless, the lads go to the wall every time I ask them. We have are up and downs like everyone, but if we stick together we will be alright."

Jackson joined Norwich in 2010 from League Two side Gillingham.
