James Vaughan to undergo scan

Norwich City striker James Vaughan will undergo a scan to determine the full extent of his most recent knee injury.

The 23-year-old was only on the pitch for ten minutes during the Canaries' 2-1 victory over Sunderland last night when he was forced to limp off with the complaint.

It is the second time this season that Vaughan has suffered an injury, although manager Paul Lambert has confirmed that it is not the same knee that forced him to miss the early part of the campaign.

"His knee is locked, which is not a good sign. We'll know more today," Lambert told BBC Radio Norfolk.

"He's really unlucky and is a bit down as you can imagine.

"He just came back from a knee injury, the only thing is it's not the same one as he hurt before, we'll have to wait and see."

Vaughan joined Norwich from Everton in May, signing a three-year contract at Carrow Road.
