Northern Ireland's clash against Russia rearranged for August

Northern Ireland's Russia clash moves to August

The abandoned World Cup qualifier between Northern Ireland and Russia has been rearranged for August.

The original meeting was called off twice last month due to the snowy conditions at Windsor Park, prompting FIFA to consider a new date.

It has been confirmed that the clash will be held just three days before the start of the Premier League campaign on August 14.

The Football League and Scottish Premier League fixtures will begin almost a fortnight before that date on August 3.
