West Ham United are reportedly interested in Real Betis striker Antonio Sanabria and are willing to pay over €20m (£17.8m) to secure his services.

The 22-year-old scored eight goals in 15 matches last season, helping his side to a sixth-place La Liga finish and Europa League qualification.

According to AS, West Ham will challenge Nice for Sanabria in the final week of the English transfer window, while Roma have a buy-back option and can re-sign the forward for €14.5m (£12.9m).

The Hammers have already spent £94.9m under new manager Manuel Pellegrini, signing the likes of Felipe Anderson, Jack Wilshere and Andriy Yarmolenko.

If Betis decide to cash in on Sanabria, Roma will receive 50% of the transfer fee due to a sell-on clause in the Paraguayan international's contract.
