Nice 2-0 Lorient

Nice have made a giant leap towards safety with a 2-0 win over fellow strugglers Lorient.

The hosts opened the scoring after the break when Anthony Mounier's left-footed strike from outside the area beat Fabien Audard and found the bottom left corner.

Their lead was doubled eight minutes later by Renato Civelli.

On-loan Blackpool midfielder Elliot Grandin sent in a cross from a free-kick which the defender headed home.

Nice dominated the game from start to finsh and the result means that Lorient now drop into the relegation zone.
