Nice edge nine-goal thriller against Marseille

Nice get the best of a nine-goal thriller in a remarkable game against Marseille in the Coupe de France.

Nice have beaten Marseille 5-4 in an incredible Coupe de France tie at the Stade Velodrome.

There were two goals in the first five minutes as Alexy Bosetti equalised after Andre Pierre Gignac's third-minute strike.

Neal Maupay then gave visiting Nice the lead on 18 minutes when he converted, before Florian Thauvin struck the second equaliser of the evening six minutes later.

With the half petering out, Souleymane Diawara put through his own net in stoppage time.

Following the restart, the visitors extended their lead as Christian Bruls scored from the penalty spot, before Fabrice Abriel added one two minutes from time.

However, Diawara added one at the right end in second-half stoppage time to make it 5-4 on the night.
