Saturday's Real Madrid transfer talk news roundup: Paul Pogba, Dominik Szoboszlai, Sergio Ramos

Here, Sports Mole rounds up the latest transfer talk for Real Madrid on Saturday, November 21.

The summer transfer window has now closed, with Real Madrid having failed to sign a single player in one of the quietest windows in their history.

The financial impact of the coronavirus pandemic prevented the Spanish champions from doing their usual business, but a busy summer of 2021 is already being predicted with the likes of Kylian Mbappe and Eduardo Camavinga thought to be on their shortlist.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up the latest news of possible comings and goings at the Bernabeu.

Saturday morning's Real Madrid transfer talk news roundup:

Paul Pogba 'could run down Manchester United contract and leave on a free transfer'

Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba is reportedly considering running down his contract at Old Trafford and leaving the club on a free transfer in the summer of 2022.

Pogba's future in Manchester is again the subject of speculation, with the World Cup winner admitting concerns over his club situation while on France duty during the recent international break.

Juventus and Real Madrid are both believed to be interested in signing the 27-year-old, although United are allegedly not prepared to sell the midfielder for a cut-price fee.

According to The Athletic, the Frenchman is considering running down his current deal, which expires in June 2022, before leaving Old Trafford on a free transfer.

The report claims that Pogba would have his pick of a number of elite clubs in Europe if he became available for nothing, but it remains to be seen whether the Red Devils attempt to sell him next summer.

The former Le Havre youngster has only managed one goal in 11 appearances for United this season and has found himself out of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's starting XI in recent weeks.

Arsenal 'working on a deal for Dominik Szoboszlai'

Arsenal are reportedly currently working on a move for Dominik Szoboszlai as they attempt to break down the £23m release clause in the attacker's Red Bull Salzburg contract.

The 20-year-old is widely expected to leave Salzburg in January, and a number of clubs, including Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur, AC Milan and Real Madrid, have been credited with an interest.

The youngster has netted five times and registered nine assists in 13 appearances at club level, while he scored the goal that sent Hungary to next summer's European Championships during the recent international break.

According to The Mirror, Arsenal are currently working on a deal for Szoboszlai, with the Gunners exploring a number of ways of meeting his £23m buy-out fee.

The report claims that Mikel Arteta's side are keen to pay three yearly instalments, but it remains to be seen whether Salzburg are open to negotiate considering the interest from other clubs.

Szoboszlai's agent recently admitted that his client is "closer now to leaving the Austrian league".
