Newcastle United midfielder Yohan Cabaye has urged the club's latest foreign signings to learn English.
The Magpies have brought in three French players so far during the January transfer window, taking their Gallic contingent up to 14.
"We are in England, so it's logical to learn the language as quickly as possible," Cabaye told L'Equipe.
"The easiest way would be not to learn it, but that would be disrespectful. If ten Italian players came into a French club, we would like them to learn our language."
Newcastle are currently four points above the relegation zone following Tuesday's 2-1 win at fellow strugglers Aston Villa.
