Preview: Netherlands vs. Andorra

Netherlands vs. Andorra

The Netherlands can stretch their winning run to three matches if they overcome Andorra at the Stadion Feijenoord for their 2014 World Cup qualifier this evening.

The Dutch outfit, who had failed to pick up a win during Euro 2012, sit second in Group D on the same points as first-placed Romania, while Andorra have yet to pick up a point in their qualifying campaign.

Louis van Gaal could line the midfield of his Dutch side with former Tottenham Hotspur playmaker Rafael van der Vaart and ex-Manchester City player Nigel de Jong, with Kevin Strootman completing the middle trio.

Manchester United striker Robin van Persie is not expected to be picked in the starting XI due to injury concerns, which means that Klaas-Jan Huntelaar should be placed up front.

Meanwhile, the home side could opt for Marc Vales in the middle of the park following the player's return from suspension, which is likely to push out Josep Ayala.

Current form:

Netherlands: LLLWW Andorra: DLLLL

Possible lineups:

Netherlands: Stekelenburg; Van Rhijn, Heitinga, Vlaar, Martins Indi; Van der Vaart, De Jong, Strootman; Schaken, Huntelaar, Lens

Andorra: Gomes; Renom, Garcia, Lima, Rodrigues; Vieira, Vales, Pujol, Clemente; Lorenzo, Gomez

Sports Mole says: 4-0
