Fabio Cannavaro slams "disrespectful" Louis van Gaal

Fabio Cannavaro says that Netherlands manager Louis van Gaal was disrespectful for substituting his goalkeeper in their World Cup quarter-final tie against Costa Rica.

Fabio Cannavaro has said that Netherlands manager Louis van Gaal was disrespectful for substituting his goalkeeper in their World Cup quarter-final tie against Costa Rica.

With the game heading towards a penalty shootout, Van Gaal brought on Tim Krul for Jasper Cillessen in the final minute of extra time.

Krul went on to make two saves in the shootout to earn his country a place in the last four of the tournament.
