Newcastle United goalkeeper Tim Krul pulls out of the Netherlands' squad for their Euro 2016 qualifier against Iceland with an elbow injury.

Tim Krul has been ruled out of the Netherlands' Euro 2016 qualifier against Iceland with an elbow injury.

The Newcastle United goalkeeper, who started on the bench for the team's 3-1 win over Kazakhstan last night, has withdrawn from the squad after picking up an injury in training.

The 26-year-old has been replaced by Kenneth Vermeer of Feyenoord, who has previously made four appearances for the national side.

The Dutch side sit third in Group A after the first two matches of the qualifying campaign.
