Sports Mole rounds up the latest transfer news and rumours, including Philip Billing to Napoli, Max Aarons to Valencia and Hamza Choudhury to Sheffield United.

Napoli are reportedly on the verge of securing a deal for Bournemouth midfielder Philip Billing.

The 28-year-old has featured on 10 occasions in the Premier League this season, while he has played 201 times in total for the Cherries since arriving from Huddersfield Town in the summer of 2019.

The Denmark international's time at the club appears to be coming to an end, though, as according to various reports in Italy, he is on the verge of completing a switch to Napoli.

Billing is expected to join the Italian giants on an initial loan deal, with the club then having the option to sign him on a permanent basis during this summer's transfer window for £7.5m.

The experienced midfielder has featured on 109 occasions for Bournemouth in the Premier League, scoring 10 goals and registering four assists in the process, but he is now set to try his luck in Serie A.

Aarons 'set to join Valencia on loan'

Sticking with Bournemouth, another outgoing could be confirmed in the near future, with Max Aarons allegedly preparing to make the move to Valencia on loan for the second half of the campaign.

According to talkSPORT, a deal has been agreed between all parties, and the La Liga club will have the option to sign him on a permanent basis for £7.5m during this summer's transfer window.

Aarons' future has recently been the subject of much speculation, with Lille also thought to be keen on his services.

However, the full-back is seemingly heading for Valencia, who recently appointed Carlos Corberan as their new head coach.

Aarons, 25, has been restricted to just 85 minutes of first-team football for Bournemouth this season, but he has 93 career appearances in the Premier League, with 70 of those coming during his time at Norwich City.

Sheffield United in 'advanced talks' over Choudhury move

Meanwhile, according to Football Insider, Sheffield United are in advanced discussions over a deal for Leicester City's Hamza Choudhury.

Blades head coach Chris Wilder is said to be determined to bring in Choudhury this month, and there is now thought to be a confidence from the Championship club that a deal will be completed in the not too distant future.

The 27-year-old has found it difficult to secure regular action for Leicester this season, making only six appearances, with four of those coming in the Premier League.

A permanent transfer is seen as unlikely this month, with the midfielder having a contract at the King Power Stadium until the summer of 2027, but Choudhury is said to be available on loan.

The former England Under-21s international has made 131 appearances for Leicester in all competitions, while he has experience of playing in the Championship with the Foxes, Watford and Burton Albion.
