Alejandro Bedoya and Alexandre Lacazette both came close to opening the scoring for their sides early on at the La Beaujoire-Louis Fonteneau, but neither could quite find a way through.

The game remained well balanced up until the 51st minute when Bakary Kone gave the visitors the lead, with the defender managing to beat Remy Riou.

Nantes did level up the contest on 72 minutes when Jordan Veretout converted from the spot to set up an exciting final 20 minutes or so.

Major chances were few and far between, however, ensuring that the points were shared to leave Les Gones in 10th place, while their opponents are one point and one place higher up in the table.
