Morecambe make double swoop

Morecambe have confirmed the signings of midfielder Aaron Wildig and defender Adam Dugdale.

Wildig, 23, joins the League Two club on a two-year deal following his release by Shrewsbury Town at the end of last season.

Meanwhile, 27-year-old Dugdale has penned a one-year contract with the option of a further 12 months from Tranmere Rovers.

Morecambe finished the 2014-15 campaign in 11th place in the table, eight points adrift of the playoff positions.
