Alex Kenyon has signed a new two-year contract with League Two outfit Morecambe.
The 21-year-old midfielder, who has made 28 appearances this season, has revealed his delight after committing his future to the club.
"I'm really pleased to have signed up for two years," he told the club's official website.
"I've really enjoyed my first season in the Football League and feel that I am learning all the time. I've played more this year than I thought I would and I've really enjoyed it.
"It's a great club with a great set of lads and when the manager offered me a deal there was never any doubt (I would sign it)."
Kenyon will be under contract at the Globe Arena until at least 2016.
