Danny Shittu signs Millwall extension

Millwall defender Danny Shittu has signed a two-year contract extension with the Championship club.

The 32-year-old's previous deal with the Lions was due to expire at the end of next month.

"There's been a couple of months of talks and I'm delighted to have got it done," Shittu told the club's official website.

"We have had a lot of ups and for me to be staying here shows that I believe in this club and I believe a lot can come from it."

Millwall secured their Championship status on the final day of the regular season, despite a 1-0 defeat at Derby County.
