Jozsef Varga nears Middlesbrough move

Debrecen owner Gabor Szima has revealed that Jozsef Varga will join Middlesbrough on loan next week if the midfielder passes his medical.

The 25-year-old, who has long been linked with a move to England, has reportedly attracted the interest of a number of clubs in recent weeks.

"Jozsef Varga will travel for a medical to Middlesbrough on Sunday and he is expected to sign a one-year loan contract next Tuesday," Szima told Haon.hu.

Varga finished last season on loan at Greuther Furth.
