Tomlin pens long-term Boro contract

Middlesbrough have announced that Lee Tomlin has signed a three-and-a-half-year contract with the club.

The frontman was on loan at the Riverside from Peterborough United but has now had his loan converted into a permanent transfer.

Tomlin, 25, is yet to make his Boro debut as he has been suspended for the last three games.

He will be eligible to make his bow at home to Leeds United this Saturday lunchtime.
