Aitor Karanka wary of Wolverhampton Wanderers forwards

Middlesbrough boss Aitor Karanka acknowledges that his side have to be at their best at the back to cope with the attacking threat of Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Middlesbrough boss Aitor Karanka has admitted that he is wary of the threat posed by Benik Afobe and his fellow Wolverhampton Wanderers forwards ahead of their Championship clash.

The 22-year-old has netted 11 goals for Kenny Jackett's men since his move to the club in January, including three in his last three matches.

The former Arsenal man has also been supported well by Nouha Dicko and Bakary Sako, both of whom scored in their side's 2-0 victory over Karanka's men back in October.

Karanka told Sports Mole: "They have very good forwards, they have Afobe, Dicko and Sako. They are very dangerous players, they are very strong players.

"We lost to Wolves down there and we made mistakes, so we have to ensure that we have fixed those mistakes and our knowledge of the team is better than when we played down there."

Middlesbrough face off against Wolves at the Riverside Stadium on Tuesday.
