Half-Time Report: Albert Adomah fires Middlesbrough ahead

A goal from Albert Adomah has given Middlesbrough 1-0 half-time lead in their League Cup tie against Wolverhampton Wanderers this evening.

Following a slow start to the match Kike came close to scoring for the hosts, but his effort was turned behind by Carl Ikeme.

In the 36th minute Middlesbrough took the lead when the visitors failed to deal with a cross from Carlos de Pena, leaving Adomah to fire in from close range.

It would prove to be the only goal of the half, as Boro took their slender advantage into the break.
