Report: Newcastle United offer Andre Ayew a pre-contract

Newcastle United have reportedly offered a pre-contract to highly-rated Marseille winger Andre Ayew.

The Ghana international's current deal runs out at the end of the season, and the French club have accepted that he will leave for free this summer.

However, the Newcastle Evening Chronicle says that German giants Borussia Dortmund and Wolfsburg are also interested in signing the 25-year-old, who played at the 2014 World Cup.

Ayew has scored nine goals so far this season.
