Andre-Pierre Gignac has admitted that Paris Saint-Germain are a "formidable outfit", but insisted that Marseille have enough quality to challenge them for the title.
Les Phoceens currently sit third in Ligue 1, level on points with Les Parisiens and three behind leaders Lyon.
"We're not letting PSG go, and we won't let them go," Ligue1.com quotes Gignac as saying.
"They're a formidable outfit, but we've got the team to trouble them. And we mustn't forget about Lyon, who've had a good first half of the season."
Gignac has scored five goals in 10 appearances so far this season.
