Mansfield Town will be aiming to make it three straight wins in all competitions when they continue their League One campaign with a home fixture against Blackpool on Tuesday night.
Nigel Clough's side have picked up three points from their opening three matches of the campaign to sit 16th in the League One table, while the visitors also have three points to show from their first three games to occupy 17th.
Match preview
Mansfield started their 2024-25 season with a 2-1 defeat to Burton Albion, before losing by the same scoreline at home to Doncaster Rovers one week later, so it was a disappointing start to the campaign.
However, Clough's team will enter this match off the back of successive wins, beating Chesterfield 2-0 in the League Cup on August 12 before overcoming Exeter City 2-1 in the league on Saturday.
The Stags sit 16th in the League One table on three points, and they will be bidding to improve in the third tier this term, having finished 17th at the same level in the 2024-25 campaign.
Mansfield have been incredibly busy during this summer's transfer window, with Ryan Sweeney, Liam Roberts and Kyle Knoyle among those to arrive, while there have also been a number of departures.
Blackpool, meanwhile, also have three points from their opening three matches of the 2025-26 League One season, boasting a record of one win and two defeats in the third tier thus far.
Steve Bruce's side opened their campaign with a 3-2 home loss to Stevenage before going down 4-1 at Exeter on August 9, making it seven goals conceded in their opening two league games of the season.
Blackpool then suffered a 1-0 home defeat to Port Vale in the League Cup, but they managed to post their first victory of the season on Saturday, running out 3-2 winners over Huddersfield Town in front of their own supporters.
The Seasiders finished ninth in League One last season, 11 points off the playoff positions, but they have not shown enough thus far to suggest that a top-six push is possible this term.
Blackpool played out a six-goal thriller with Mansfield in their last meeting in February 2025, with the points shared in a 3-3 draw, and there could again be goals when they lock horns on Tuesday night.

Team News
Mansfield were excellent against Exeter last time out, so Clough could decide to select the same XI here.
Will Evans has found the back of the net on two occasions this season, and the 28-year-old is again set to lead the line.
Baily Cargill has been another standout performer for the club in the early stages of the campaign, and he will again feature in the middle of the defence on Tuesday night alongside the experienced Jordan Bowery.
As for Blackpool, Niall Ennis scored twice against Huddersfield last time out, but the striker was sent off in the same match, and he will therefore not be available for selection against Mansfield.
Ennis's absence is likely to open the door for Dale Taylor to feature in the final third of the field.
Taylor for Ennis could be the only change from the side that took to the field for the first whistle against Huddersfield, with George Honeyman again set to captain the team from the middle of midfield.
Mansfield Town possible starting lineup:
Roberts; Knoyle, Bowery, Cargill, Blake-Tracy; McDonnell, Reed; Bolton, Maris, Hendry; Evans
Blackpool possible starting lineup:
Peacock-Farrell; Brown, Casey, Ihiekwe, Coulson; Bloxham, Evans, Honeyman, Hamilton; Fletcher, Taylor
We say: Mansfield Town 2-2 Blackpool
Blackpool have been conceding goals at an alarming rate early this season, and we can see goals on Tuesday night, with the points potentially being shared in an entertaining draw.
