Louis van Gaal hints at Manchester United bid for Juan Cuadrado

Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal has hinted at a move for Fiorentina midfielder Juan Cuadrado.

The Colombian international, who impressed for his country at this summer's World Cup, has been strongly linked with a move to United in recent days.

It is understood that the Premier League club have lodged a bid in the region of £30m for the 26-year-old and now Van Gaal has added fuel to the fire.

"I cannot talk about Cuadrado, because if I say something about him the price will rise," Van Gaal told reporters.

It is believed that Van Gaal wants to use Cuadrado as a right wing-back in his 3-5-2 formation.
