United 'want in excess of £150m for Pogba'

Manchester United are holding out for more than £150m for Real Madrid target Paul Pogba, according to a report.

Madrid are rumoured to have already made an initial move for Pogba, who has made it clear that he wants to push through a transfer.

United were previously unwilling to sell the 26-year-old at any price due to his commercial value, but The Independent claims that is no longer the case.

The Red Devils also believe the midfielder's dressing-room influence has waned and they will supposedly cash in over the next few months, although that depends on a couple of other factors.

Los Blancos still have to agree a financial package with the France international, made complicated by agent Mino Raiola's worldwide ban until August 9, and Zinedine Zidane will also have to offload goalkeeper Keylor Navas to free up funds.

The report states that United are not interested in a player-plus-cash deal that would see one of Madrid's stars head to Old Trafford.
