Report: De Gea contract has £30m buyout

David de Gea's new four-year contract at Manchester United reportedly has a buyout clause of £30m.

On Friday, the 24-year-old completed a spectacular turnaround by signing a new long-term contract at Old Trafford, having previously looked certain to join Real Madrid on transfer deadline day.

As it stands, the Spanish international's current deal does not expire until the summer of 2019, but according to The Sun, the new deal has a buyout of £30m inserted.

Real Madrid are not expected to return with a bid in January, but it is still widely thought that the Spanish giants will not give up on the stopper, who returned to the Man United team against Liverpool on Saturday.

De Gea's previous contract had been due to expire next summer.
