Real Madrid reportedly refuse to break their wage structure to sign Jude Bellingham as the race to sign him heats up amid Liverpool, Man City and Man United interest.

Real Madrid will reportedly refuse to break their wage structure as the race to sign Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham heats up.

Liverpool, Manchester City and Manchester United have also been linked with the 19-year-old, who played a starring role in England's World Cup campaign, with a bidding war expected in terms of both transfer fee and personal terms.

However, Spanish outlet Marca reports that the reigning European champions are not willing to make an exception to their salary limits for the teenage sensation.

According to the outlet, no player at the Santiago Bernabeu has been paid more than €12m (£10.5m) per year in the past few seasons, however, the midfielder's contract could be revised in the future.

The report also states that Bellingham is leaning towards the La Liga giants regardless of the finances on offer, with Los Blancos believing that their relationship with Dortmund makes them favourites for his signature.

The former Birmingham City man has featured in 22 matches for his club this season in all competitions, scoring nine and assisting three goals.

Bellingham also became the first English teenager to score in four consecutive Champions League matches earlier this season.
