Paris Saint-Germain join Liverpool and Manchester United in the race to sign Barcelona centre-back Ronald Araujo, according to a report.

Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly joined Liverpool and Manchester United in the race to sign Barcelona centre-back Ronald Araujo during this summer's transfer window.

The Uruguay international has entered the final 18 months of his contract at Camp Nou, and the Catalan giants are currently struggling to agree an extension with the defender.

Barcelona president Joan Laporta recently suggested that the club were not close to reaching an agreement with the South American over a new deal.

Liverpool and Man United are both believed to be keen to bring Araujo to the Premier League during this summer's transfer window.

However, according to Sport, there is also genuine interest from PSG, with the French giants determined to acquire him for the 2022-23 campaign.

The 23-year-old has been an important player for Xavi's side during the 2021-22 campaign, making 30 appearances in all competitions, contributing three goals in the process.

Meanwhile, Araujo has made 69 appearances for Barcelona since joining the club from Boston River in 2018.
