David Moyes to swoop for Marouane Fellaini, Adnan Januzaj?

Sunderland manager David Moyes is said to be planning a raid on his former club Manchester United for Marouane Fellaini and Adnan Januzaj.

New Sunderland manager David Moyes is reportedly planning a raid on his former side Manchester United for Marouane Fellaini and Adnan Januzaj.

Fellaini, 28, moved with Moyes from Everton to Manchester in 2013 and now the Scot is keen to be reunited with the midfielder yet again in the North-East, according to The Mirror. New United manager Jose Mourinho has Fellaini in his plans but would be prepared to let him leave for around £20m.

Januzaj, meanwhile, has been informed by Mourinho that he can depart Old Trafford on loan to gain regular first-team experience. Moyes promoted the then-18-year-old to the United first team in 2013 in what was Januzaj's best stint in a red shirt.

Although Moyes is said to be keen to tie up a loan deal, Januzaj has insisted that he wants to move on a permanent deal, which could scupper the transfer. The Belgian winger is reportedly valued by United at "at least £25m", a figure that is beyond Moyes's transfer budget.

Sunderland have yet to make a signing this transfer window, but have dispensed with the services of Steven Fletcher, Emanuele Giaccherini, Santiago Vergini, Wes Brown and Danny Graham.
