Manchester United interim head coach Ralf Rangnick is reportedly prepared to let Diogo Dalot leave the club this month.

Manchester United interim head coach Ralf Rangnick is reportedly prepared to sanction an exit for Diogo Dalot during the January transfer window.

The 22-year-old has made 13 appearances for the Red Devils during the 2021-22 campaign and has been a regular in the Premier League since Rangnick's arrival.

Dalot has entered the final 18 months of his contract at Old Trafford, though, and Atletico Madrid are believed to be keen to sign the Portugal international as a replacement for Kieran Trippier.

According to AS, Rangnick is willing to let the defender move on during the winter transfer window, with the Red Devils expected to sign a new right-back this year.

The 20-time English champions have allegedly identified Brighton & Hove Albion's Tariq Lamptey as a potential acquisition during this summer's transfer window.

A recent report claimed that Man United could sign a new right-back this month if the right opportunity arises.
